Shapiro Canada is a Montreal-based company dedicated to supplying a variety of premium-quality fresh-cut produce.
For over 25 years now, we have provided processed vegetables for both the retail market and the food service industry, using the most up-to-date equipment and processes to yield outstanding products that meet the most stringent quality control requirements.
At Shapiro, we are always attuned to consumer demand and to our customers' specific needs: in our ongoing effort to offer the best possible products, we are now implementing a new, even more demanding quality control program to meet HACCP standards at all stages of production.

In recent years, the trend in both food service and retail companies has been to rely ever more on pre-packaged fresh-cut produce because of the obvious benefits it affords: for the consumer, it is a good way to save time in food preparation: for a restaurant, it is an effective way to save substantial labour costs.
Our standard packaging includes 6, 8, 10, 12, 16 ounce bags and lunchboxes, for retail purposes, as well as 3, 4, 5 and 10 pound bags for the food service industry.
Shapiro Canada offers fresh-cut cabbage and lettuce in several cuts, sizes and mixes. Furthermore, we are constantly developing new products to increase our item line.
